Head of Production & Creative Operations, Curology / Agency  — 2021 to 2023
Led and managed the in-house creative production and operations team for a telehealth / skincare company, including producers, project managers, photo and video editors, motion designers, directors and DPs; partnered directly with the ECD to run a full-service creative operation that delivered thousands of assets each year for integrated brand campaigns, growth marketing workstreams, retail, lifecycle, broadcast and social channels; navigated and interpreted complex cross-functional strategies and requests to ensure all creative production work exceeded expectations, fulfilled the brief and supported brand messaging and performance marketing goals; established all operations processes and tools, forecasted and managed annual operating budget, responsible for project planning, resourcing and time tracking; established and maintained relationships with marketing partners, finance, legal, external directors and production vendors.

Freelance Integrated Producer, Google — 2019 - 2021

Lead producer on Google’s first brand campaign, managing and delivering 40+ spots across broadcast, digital and social channels; produced a short form documentary about a worldwide motorcycle relay, filming in 3 different countries; produced film and social campaigns for a wide variety of high impact, cross functional initiatives with very tight timelines, including campaigns for Pride and Covid-19.

Freelance Creative Producer, Facebook — 2018 - 2019

Lead producer on films and campaigns across several different product features, including Stories and Messenger, as well as integrity and reputation initiatives; partnered with marketing and program leads to keep projects on brief and on schedule.

Executive Producer, BBDO SF — 2016 - 2018

Launched an in-house content production studio within the BBDO agency; responsible for designing and instituting processes and establishing a profitable business model, educating creatives, account managers and clients about the production unit’s capabilities, bidding all jobs, forecasting revenue, creating and managing timelines and budgets, hiring full time staff and freelancers, sourcing outside production partners as needed, line and post producing, partnering with creative directors to make ideas come to life by being strategic about timelines, budgets and creative approach.

Clients included Mattel, HP, Wells Fargo, Mars Petcare, Golden State Warriors and Uncle Ben's

Head of Production/Executive Producer, HEIST, Inc. — 2015 - 2016

Oversaw production department of a busy commercial and branded content shop; managed full-time staff, plus dozens of freelancers; responsible for bidding and contracts, resourcing, account management, line producing (including locations, casting, sourcing gear and crew, tracking budgets and managing post), recruiting new talent and project actualizations. Acted as primary client liaison. 

Clients included Nike, Google, Intel, HP, Levi’s, Salesforce, AKQA, Venables Bell & Partners, as well as dozens of start-ups and non-profits.

Senior Producer, HEIST, Inc. — 2013 - 2015

Line produced multiple projects at a time; oversaw casting, locations, budgeting, scheduling and client management; implemented new workflows and processes to make the production department more efficient and organized.

Co-Executive Producer/Showrunner, Optomen — 2010 - 2012

Responsible for all aspects of production and editorial direction for Nat Geo Wild and Travel Channel series; shot in 5 different countries in remote locations and all over the U.S.; responsible for network communication, scripting, creative direction, post supervision, talent management and staffing.

Series Producer, NBCUniversal, - 2009 - 2010

Managed daily operations of 13-part series for The Weather Channel, including staffing, story development, scheduling, shoot logistics, field producing, story editing and final delivery. Developed, directed and wrote a pilot for The Weather Channel that was picked up for multiple seasons.

Producer/Writer/Director, Various — 2004 - 2009

Credits include more than 40 hours of television for networks such as National Geographic, Discovery, History, PBS, Travel Channel, Syfy, Bio and Discovery Health. Produced and directed remote and international shoots, directed re-creations, conducted research and interviews, wrote scripts and post produced. Interviewed everyone from Presidential advisors and scientists to celebrities and UFO seekers. 

Producer/Writer, HealthiNation — 2007 - 2007

Researched, wrote and produced vignettes about health, wellness and medical topics; identified on-camera talent and conducted on-camera training; oversaw post-production, including graphics, music and stock footage licensing. 

Production Coordinator, Discovery Communications, Inc. — 2001 - 2003

Assisted three Executive Producers with more than 100 hours of programming for the Discovery Health Channel; responsible for tracking schedules and deliverables; acted as the liaison between network departments (PR, promo, business affairs, programming and production management) and production company.

Pro Bono

K9s for Warriors - Developed, directed and produced two short films for an organization that pairs shelter dogs with post-9/11 veterans suffering from PTSD.                          

De Marillac Academy - Served on the Development Council, advising on marketing strategies; produced and developed a short documentary called “Rise” to raise money for the school.

The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust -  Assisted with San Francisco Bay Area activities and events, including organizing a film screening fundraiser, hosted by actress Kristin Davis, to raise money for the Wildlife Trust and its efforts to save African elephants from poaching.
